Scorers: - Cheryl Edgar (3), Patricia McLaughlin (3), Chelsea Bate, Claire Weir Hibs travelled to Arsenal North in search of their 4th straight league victory in a row and left with all 3 points. The Arsenal coach gracefully thanked Hibs after the game for "a lesson in football". Hibs played some delightful passing football throughout the game and although Arsenal worked hard and never let their heads drop, they were no match for the skill and speed of the girls from the capital. Lisa Marie Boyd and Natalie Ross were again in scintillating form pulling the strings in the heart of Hibs midfield and were magnificently supported by every player around them. Corrie Davidson had only one save of note to make during the whole game and when the question was asked she re-acted brilliantly pulling of a point-blank save when diving low to her left mid-way through the second half. The defence always looked comfortable and were always willing to provide depth to the midfield. Cheryl Edgar and Tricia McLaughlin provided the width and bagged a hat-trick each and the hardworking Sammi Hare proved to be a constant thorn in the Arsenal rearguard. Clair Weir and Chelsea Bate both scored good headed goals. Every girl played their part in a very good display, well done girls, keep up the good work.
