Scorers: - Cheryl Edgar (3), Patricia McLaughlin (1), Sammi Hare (2), Lisa-Marie Boyd (2), Kerry Montgomery (2), Chelsea Bate (3), Kelly Forrest (1) Hibs entertained Hamilton at St Marks Park in the first round of the League Cup and were comfortable winners playing some very good passing football, their movement off the ball was excellent with the girls from Hamilton constantly chasing shadows in what for them was a very difficult afternoon, however they kept working away to the end and took their defeat in a sporting manner. Hibs were able to give their squad a good run out and all acquitted themselves very well. Cheekiest goal of the game goes to Chelsea Bate who pushed teammate Tricia McLaughlin out of the way to head home at the back post.
