Hibs Girls win local derby

Hibs visited Huchison Vale for their first meeting of the season and controlled the game from start to finish. Hibs took an early lead when Kerry Montgomery crashed home the opener however Huchison Vale steadied themselves and defended in numbers but found it difficult getting out of their own half. with Hibs guilty of holding on to the ball to long. After the break Hibs, who in the first half were guilty of holding on to the ball for to long, started to move the ball around much quicker and their passing game brought it's just rewards with several good chances. Hibs then extended  their lead through a Tricia McLaughlin penalty awarded for a hand ball in the box before Lisa Marie Boyd scored the third a cracker from 20 yards with the outside of her right foot. Huchison Vale rarely threatened the Hibs goal and Hibs fully deserved all three points to keep their 100% season record.
