Hibs
Girls U15 13 : Crammond 0

Played at
A
dull but dry Saturday saw Hibs U15 Girls kick-off against bottom of the table
Crammond. Hibs were back to full strength with the return of Charlotte, Dionne
(in goal), Marielle and Laura C.
Hibs
were quickly on the attack and forced a corner that was scrambled away by the
Crammond defence. It was very much one way traffic as Hibs parked themselves in
the Crammond half of the pitch.
A
Coral free kick was kept in by Rosie who cut back to Bryony who was unlucky not
to score.
It
was all Hibs at this stage and Laura S saw her shot go narrowly past the post on
10 minutes. This was followed by a great run from Gillian on the right wing but
found Laura S offside.
The
breakthrough came after Gillian side-footed in following great work from Gemma
and Danni on the left wing after 13 minutes. Hibs continued to pressure and
Gemma rounded off a great run with a well placed shot to the corner of the net
to make it 2-0.
It
was 3-0 after the Crammond defence bundled in the ball from
There
were not many attacks from the visitors and any attempts were safely mopped up
by Coral, Ashley and Rebekah.
Hibs
were unlucky not to go further ahead with great runs from Laura S and Gillian.
Gemma
showed how to do it with another excellent goal on 25 minutes with a powerful
shot after carving her way through the Crammond defence to make it 4-0.
She then got her hat-trick with a shot from just inside the box after
good play from Bryony and Rosie on the wing to make it 5-0.
Hibs
kept up the pressure with corner after corner and it was no surprise when Rosie
made it 6-0 with a looping shot that beat the keeper just before half time.
Hibs
made some changes in the second half with Gillian moving in goal to allow Dionne
up front with Marielle replacing Rosie and Laura C on for Ashley.
Hibs
were immediately on the attack with both Laura S and Dionne coming close.
Laura
S at last got on the score sheet after being put through by Marielle to make it
7-0.
It
was quickly followed by Gemma's fourth after she picked up the ball on the
halfway line and ran through the defence before firing high into the net to make
it 8-0.
Gillian
saved well from the first Crammond attack midway through the second half.
It
was back to business as usual however when Dionne made it 9-0 when she latched
on to Coral's deflected shot.
Coral
got on the scoresheet herself when she made it 10-0 with a 10 yard shot into the
corner.
Rebekah
made it a dozen with an excellent chip from outside the box.
Gemma
made it 13-0 with another just before full time.
A
very satisfactory day for Hibs although they will be aware that the Crammond
team are in the process of establishing themselves.
