Hibs 1 Baillieston 2

Hibs Girls met Baillieston in a crunch league game today at St Marks Park and lost their 100% record. Hibs started brightly and put the Baillieston rearguard under pressure. Hibs captain Nuala Deans delivered a perfectly waited free-kick for Kaydee Low to run on to and finish with a first time shot to put Hibs in front. Hibs then dominated the first half but spurned several chances to go further ahead before giving away possession for  Baillieston to equalise before half time. In the second half Baillieston upped their game and drove the game towards the Hibs goal without really threatening until the ball was played across the 18 yard box for Cheryl McCulloch to sweep home the winner. Hibs countered with some late flurry's but to no avail. The teams were fairly evenly matched but Hibs were left to rue their first half chances.
