| Scotland Under 19s Coach Tony Gervaise has named the squad going to England for the 1st Qualifying round in the UEFA Women’s Under 19 Championship. | |

Last season Scotland had one of the best records to qualify for the tournament but were unfortunate to be grouped with eventual finalists Russia as well as France and England. Tony said: "The team we have is a young one as many of the Under 19 players of last season have made the step forward with their clubs and some with the Scottish national team. I have a very determined squad who are looking forward to the competition and the experience it will bring to their game. "In the first qualifying round, Scotland is in a group with England, Croatia and the Faroe Islands. The top two from each section plus the five best third-placed sides will join France, Germany and Spain in the next round, being drawn into seven groups of four. The winners of these groups will then take a place at the finals in Switzerland. |
