Huchison Vale 2 Hibs 3

Hibs met Huchison Vale and came out on top in a physical affair. Hibs were guilty of a few below par performances but not so in midfield duo Kim Little and Natalie Ross along with Emma McCulley who all turned in solid performances and the same three were rewarded with a goal apiece for their efforts. Rebekah Moore one of Hibs Under 15's also performed very well when entering the fray in the second half.  

Sloppy defending gifted Huchison Vale the lead twice in the first half but Hibs always looked to have the upper hand in open play without creating many clear-cut chances, good passing football was difficult to achieve on a heavy pitch with the grass very long in parts. Hibs deserved their win but can do a lot better than today's showing.
