Hibs Girls played hosts to Kilmarnock for the first time this season winning  3-1 to move 3 points clear at the top of the table. What evolved was a keenly contested game between two good sides and the football played by both these teams was a pleasure to watch. Hibs have a great team spirit and fight fair and hard for every ball epitomised by captain Kayley Ralton who leads by example playing the final ten minutes of the Hutchie Vale game a few weeks back with a broken wrist and the last twenty minutes of this game with a broken finger, the will to win among the whole squad is obvious to anyone watching. Hibs went ahead in 30 minutes when the dynamic Cheryl Edgar stroked home after good work by Tricia McLaughlin and Claire Weir. Laurna Robertson doubled the lead five minutes after the break before Lauren Emmerson pulled one back for Killie. Cheryl Edgar then finished the scoring to give Hibs the victory.
