Hibs Girls lost this final to Cosmos despite having the lions share of possession and pressure however Cosmos defended defiantly and scored twice on the break to lift the cup. Leanne Crichton scored both goals for Cosmos 5 minutes into the second half and 10 minutes from the end. Hibs Girls fought bravely from start to finish but it wasn't to be their day, Cosmos cleared the ball of the line on three occasions, Cheryl Edgar hit the post and the Cosmos keeper pulled off a couple of good saves with other Hibs efforts wide of target they had to settle for runners-up place. Congratulations to Cosmos on their victory.
