Hibs Girls met Paisley Saints for the third time this season having won the two previous encounters. Hibs started well when from the kick-off the ball was laid back to Lisa-Marie Boyd who passed it wide to Kayley Ralton who strode forward before knocking a ball over the Paisley defence for Lyndsey Hunter to shoot from the edge of the box past the Paisley keeper into the net. Paisley's Natalie McAtier then shot over the Hibs bar. Lindsey Hunter then had a shot stopped by the Paisley keeper the ball falling to Cheryl Edgar who should have made it two but knocked it into the keepers arms. Paisley McKim then shot wide. With Hibs playing against a strong wind they found the net again after good work down the right was expertly finished by Claire Weir. Paisley Saints were then awarded a soft free-kick at the edge of the Hibs box and the resultant award was converted inside Louise Kedslie's left-hand post. Claire Weir fired a shot just wide and header from a corner wide before Tricia Mclaughlin then tried her luck but the ball skidded past the Paisley keeper's far post. Paisley Saints then took advantage of the wind when they sent in a corner which curled home underneath Louise Kedslie's crossbar. Lisa Marie Boyd then sent a free kick wide of the right hand post. The first half ended all square 2-2. Hibs started the second half with Lyndsey Hunter heading over before stooping low to head past Ashleigh McQuade to score her own second and Hibs third. A Nuala Deans clearance smacked off Paisley Saints Lauren McMurray and fell kindly for the little midfielder who stepped forward and drove the ball into the Hibs net to make it 3-3. Paisley Saints then delivered a corner right onto Hibs goal line and the Paisley forward headed home for Paisley to edge in front for the first time in the game. Hibs then piled on the pressure with first Laurna Robertson and then Tricia McLaughlin hitting the post and Kayley Ralton heading over the bar before the referee brought the game to an end. Hibs can feel unlucky to have lost all three points but credit to Paisley Saints who fought to the end and were over the moon with their victory.
