Scotland were to strong for Wales in every department with a 3-0 victory a true reflection of the game. Wales never really looked like causing the Scotland back three of  Kerr, Brown and Ralton any problems, with the Scotland midfield lead by skipper Sharon Scott on top in the middle of the park. Debutant striker McCulloch scored twice adding to Paterson's first half strike to make the score 3-0 to the Scots.
