Under 17's -
Hibs Girls Grab Scotland's Goals 26 November 2002 Scotland under 17's played their second game against another American Regional team with Claire Crosbie Hibs centre half employed as a striker, Hibs striker Diana Barry in midfield and Hibs midfielder Joelle Murray playing at right back. These positional changes didn't seem to upset the girls as they ran out 2-1 winners with goals in the 78th and 85th minutes from Claire Crosbie (left) and Hibs striker Steph Allison (right). Scotland will now play the U.S. U17 National team on Saturday. |

Girls v Fife United
10 Nov 2002 Hibs Girls entertained Fife United at St Marks Park, Fife had performed well so far in the league and the Hibs Girls expected a tough encounter singling out forward Stacey King as the Fife Girls main threat up front. Hibs were minus their goalkeeper Lynsay Kinnaird who was on holiday and had no alternative but to put midfield playmaker Danni Pagliarulo between the sticks.................... |

Girls Progress To League Cup Final
Hibs Girls met last weekends league opponents East Kilbride at Hamilton Palace and although Hibs won the game 6-3 they were well out of sorts, fortunately for Hibs, East Kilbride were unable to capitalize resorting to the long ball game. Free flowing passing football was limited partly down to the size of the small park with the midfield area congested at times. Defensively Hibs were at sixes and sevens particularly in the first half with the midfield often too far forward and the normally potent strike force missing to many chances, that said however East Kilbride can thank the woodwork for saving their blushes on five occasions. |

Cumbernauld Cosmos v Paisley Saints Cumbernauld Cosmos came from behind to scrape a 2-1 win over Paisley Saints in the other league cup semi-final. Cosmos who were beaten 4-2 by Hibs in last seasons final will now meet the girls from Edinburgh again in this seasons final. Cosmos who have never won against Hibs in all nine meetings between the sides will be looking to change that statistic while Hibs will be looking to make it ten in a row. |

Girls Turn on the
Style
Hibs Girls entertained East Kilbride today at St Marks Park, East Kilbride with only one defeat so far this season were hopefully to provide a stiffer test for the girls in green. This game was to be a rehearsal for next weeks league cup semi-final when these two teams meet again at Hamilton Palace.......

Hibs Girls Blow Ayr Away Hibs Girls were down to the bare bones for their first encounter with Ayr United this season with three players unavailable and one injured leaving them with nine fit players and two girls playing despite feeling unwell. Ayr United however are a young team for this age group and are still finding their feet at this level and for this reason Hibs would prove far to strong for their opponents...........

EASY WIN FOR HIBS GIRLS Hibs Girls entertained Dundee Girls for the first time and proved too strong in all departments for the girls from the North. In a one sided league cup quarter-final Hibs hit the back of the net ten times and it could have been a lot more if not for some very good saves and a spirited display from Dundee's big keeper Natalia Macholla.
