GIRLS 2nd TRIUMPH OVER WHITBURN
Hibs Girls played their second league game of the season against Whitburn at St Marks Park and got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory. New keeper Louise Kedslie was a virtual spectator throughout and didn't get a touch of the ball in the second half underlining Hibs dominance. Hibs were more than comfortable at the back, ruled the midfield with Lisa-Marie Boyd and Laurna Robertson having outstanding games in the middle of the park. Whitburn packed their defence allowing the forwards little room however Chelsea Bate managed to score the all important goal with a solid header half way through the second half. Keeper Antoinette Reilly again had a good game for Whitburn. |
